Family Connection provides guidance to help parents navigate school meetings (IEP and 504) to ensure their children’s educational needs, supports, and services are planned and carried out effectively.

Last year, we received an unprecedented number of requests from parents for services related to our education services. Your gift will help provide critically-needed funds to fulfill the requests from parents who need help for their children

Your investment will help Family Connection:

• Develop vital resource materials for parents in English and Spanish, including the Your Child’s Journey Begins Workbook and guidebooks.
• Conduct trainings to help parents become advocates for their child, and to understand the education system, student rights, responsibilities of the school, and critical transition milestones.
• Host workshops outlining how to utilize the Your Child’s Journey Workbook
• Provide accessible online tools in English and Spanish
• Fulfill/mail orders for materials to parents

• Offer all services, programs, and materials to families at no cost

Without the funds from this campaign, we may not be able to serve all of the families requesting our services in the timeframe required. Consequently, their children may lose access to the services and supports they need and deserve to succeed in school.

This Education Resources Campaign will help us continue offering all programs, support, and materials to parents at no cost, and without a wait list.
