Join our Sorority in supporting the SC Buddy Walk and Family Connection of South Carolina!
Alpha Sigma Alpha prides itself in advocacy for those with special healthcare needs. ASA has been partnered with the Special Olympics since 1976 and the Iota Theta Chapter at Columbia College is hoping to make our support and engagement with the SC Buddy Walk a new yearly occurrence.
Make a donation in honor of Buddy Walk and help Family Connection continue to provide services, programs, training, and materials to families and people with Down syndrome at no cost and with no waiting list! Many families of those with Down syndrome struggle with the extra cost of special healthcare needs in the Midlands and Family Connections works to fill that gap.

- Down Syndrome Association of the Low Country (DSAL)
- Nonprofit that supports families in Charleston, Dorchester, & Berkely County!
- Family Connections of South Carolina
- Family Connections SC is a statewide non-profit support network whose mission is to strengthen families of children with special healthcare needs through parental support and free programs, training, and resources.
- Grand Strand Down Syndrome Society
- Funds resources for families, including swim lessons, social groups, & financial assistance for local schools.
- Best Buddies
- Organization that helps people with intellectual or developmental disabilities form friendships, secure jobs, & improve communication & advocacy skills!
